Service Description

You must book this session if you are a new Bodywork client with Corrine. No exceptions. Any other session booking will be denied. You do not need to book this before booking a traditional massage. The purpose of this session is to discover the source of pain, dysfunction or restriction and the method of treatment, it usually runs between 75 and 90 Minutes. You will need to wear comfortable clothing, shorts preferably and sports bras for women. Bring any imaging, be aware of any past injury diagnoses, and any other information relevant to how and why your body moves the way it does. What: Corrine will assess movement and range of motion both active and passive, body resting positions of the back and pelvis, shoulder girdle, scapula and feet/knees and give you an initial treatment to correct these problems. A thorough history of injuries and activities will also be taken. Follow up protocol will be suggested either with Corrine or another therapist, and exercises/home-care videos will be taught as part of your goal attainment. ***This is a very thorough and mildly intense session. It takes roughly 90-120 mins, and is designed for active or injured clients to get to the bottom of the source of their pain or movement restrictions. Try and come armed with information about past injuries and conditions for best results. You will likely be sore, you will definitely feel better.

Cancellations less than 24 hours before need to be done via phone or text.<br> Late cancellations of one on one services (those within a 24 hour window prior to your session with one of our therapists/coaches) will require a 50% cancellation fee to be paid before any further sessions of any kind may be attended.<br><br> Not showing up to a session without notification will result in a charge for the **FULL service amount or forfeiture of a prepaid session**.<br>Please respect your therapists need to make a living, and plan/notify us ahead of time.
